HCG Diet Dangers

You have heard the stories and seen the websites with testimonials of people that have lost 30 to 40 lbs in less than a month using the hCG diet. Now you want to know for yourself are these results real? Is this a fad diet? What is hCG? Is hCG safe? Can you lose that much weight? Is the success of the hCG diet fact or fiction? You may have asked yourself some of these questions or perhaps all of them. These are valid items to consider and worthy of your investigation. In short, whether you are interested in losing weight using hCG injections or hCG oral drops, it is imperative that you do your due diligence before purchasing hCG and beginning the diet. We hope this e-book is helpful in answering these questions and honestly addressing your concerns.. There are a lot of people that have tried and failed on numerous faddish diets and will continue to try and find that elusive formula that actually does what it says in the flashy marketing. Being suspect of weight loss promises is natural. And with recent interest in the hCG diet growing exponentially, it is sure to attract new consumers as well as producers of hCG as they hear about the successes on TV, radio and of course the Internet. Some may find the claims hard to believe and, unfortunately, there will always be a handful of providers that will make outlandish and unsubstantiated claims about their product or will market poor quality hCG products that disappoint and under perform. So what should you be concerned about when considering the hCG diet? Are there dangers associated with hCG?
What is hCG?
Is hCG safe?
How does the hCG diet work?
Will I keep the weight off?
Isn’t the hCG diet just another fad diet?
How can I be sure that I buy quality hCG?
HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin), is a hormone that is found in men and women but it is produced in huge amounts during pregnancy and is what a pregnancy test looks for. Because of it is found in abundance in the urine of women, the hCG diet drops or injections are sometimes associated with the “urine of pregnant women.” But hCG diet oral drops or injections are not urine. HCG tells the hypothalamus (area of the brain that affects metabolism) to burn fat stores. In pregnancy, this function supplies nutrients to the fetus from these fat stores in the absence of consumed calories by the mother..
It is a fact that correctly manufactured hCG is safe to absorb into your body. Every body produces this hormone. In truth, there are a few people who have reported side effects such as , dizziness, headaches, abdomen pain or nausea while taking hCG and following the diet. These symptoms are usually the result of improper administration or dosage or sometimes poor quality hCG mixtures.

So let’s first look at how the US Food and Drug Administrator (FDA) views the use of hCG. The first thing to say is the FDA has approved the use of hCG to treat various health issues and it has been in existence to do so for over 50 years by the medical community, which also considers it safe.

The bigger question for you is, has it been approved for use in weight loss?

l The answer is no, the FDA has not approved hCG for use in treating weight loss. This despite respected studies that show its effectiveness plus tens of thousands of case reports that demonstrate significant weight loss and body contouring. The FDA’s position remains “hCG has not been demonstrated to be effective adjunctive therapy in the treatment of obesity. There is no substantial evidence that it increases weight loss beyond that resulting from caloric restriction…”

The FDA’s position remains “hCG has not been demonstrated to be effective adjunctive therapy in the treatment of obesity. There is no substantial evidence that it increases weight loss beyond that resulting from caloric restriction…” ard. It is worth your consideration. But let’s analyze a little further what they say. First they agree it is safe to consume, but because they do not have “substantial” evidence they will not approve it as a weight loss aid.

“Substantial” is a big word. The Oxford Dictionary defines it as “of considerable importance, size, or worth”. What I would derive from this statement is that they do have evidence but would like more proof before they can offer an endorsement and cast iron guarantee to it’s worth.

Weigh the FDA’s claim for lack of evidence against the experience and success of your friends, family and neighbors that have lost 30 – 40 pounds in a month. And if you don’t know anyone personally that has experienced success on the hCG diet, there are several web sites that are support communities for hCG dieters that offer their experiences of hCGdiet success.

But let me give you another example, I spent many years working in the live music industry, a large part involved lifting very heavy equipment which resulted in me suffering back problems. At the time I was living in England and was covered by free National Health Service (NHS). I

would visit my doctor for a solution…his advice? Painkillers and physical therapy and…it didn’t work. I asked to see an osteopath but he couldn’t allow it because osteopaths aren’t approved by the NHS due to the homeopathic nature of their practice. Of course I paid privately to visit one and whenever I have a problem I go back, why? Because it solves my problem.

So the point is, just because the FDA has not fully sanctioned the use of hCG as a weight loss aid, it does not mean that it has not proven successful for thousands and will work for you too if you follow the hCG protocol.

As indicated earlier, the hormone hCG stimulates the hypothalamus to mobilize stored fat into the bloodstream to be used as “food” in pregnant women. in the 1950s, British physician, Albert T. Simeons discovered that this phenomena can be used by men and women to lose substantial weight and fat. Dr. Simeon’s diet program combined hCG with a very low calorie diet.

HCG works to mobilize fat for utilization by the body when and only when there is

a significant decrease in calories and fat.HCG signals the body to dispose of excess fat by putting it into the blood stream where it is then burned off by the body for energy. However, this only occurs when it is combined with a very low calorie diet.Normally if we cut back on calories and fat, our bodies react by storing fat and our metabolism will slow down. However, when a very low calorie diet is combined with hCG, the body is triggered to use the fat that is stored for energy or for elimination. So the hCG diet will reset your metabolism, protect your body’s good fat and thus prevent muscle tissue from breaking down which is common in other very low calorie diets without the use of hCG.
The reaction of many people to the hCG diet is to ask if they wouldn’t lose the same amount of weight eating a very low calorie diet without hCG. After all, eat 500 calories a day for three weeks and you will lose weight. We cannot argue with that. You can lose weight by simply eating fewer calories and fat, but because the body stores fat during times of deprivation, you will most likely lose muscle and bone before fat. A very low calorie diet without hCG causes

cellular metabolism to slow down, so in the long run, it would make gaining weight easier. And on a reduced calorie diet without hCG within 2-3 days you would begin to suffer from insomnia, lethargy, headaches, severe fatigue, brain function and muscle atrophy, you won’t stick with that.

On the other hand, hCG releases fat into your system and eliminates the issues and in fact dangers that are generated from a very low calorie diet without hCG. hCG helps you to feel comfortable on the reduced calorie diet. Your appetite is suppressed and most dieters feel as if they have eaten a normal diet as the body subsists on the stored “abnormal” fat. On hCG the body will be burning 3,500-4,000 calories of excess fat resulting in weight loss of 1-2 pounds every day!

For further proof we must look at Dr Belluscio’s oral hCG double blind study carried out in 1991. Belluscio devoted much of his medical career to the study of the hCG method for weight loss. Critics of the diet complain that anybody should lose weight on a very low calorie diet (VLCD). So he completed a double blind study in which all volunteers submitted to the exact VLCD schedule for 5 weeks, with one half given hCG drops and the other a placebo.

The Result
HCG oral administration proved to be a safe and effective procedure on obese treated patients.
No side effects were observed during the study.
Female volunteers who took administered hCG as opposed to the placebo, coped better with daily irritations, were in a better mood, dealing with conflicts at home without increased family tensions.
Volunteers who received the hCG oral drops experienced decreased specific body circumferences and skin fold thickness from conspicuous body areas more efficiently than those that were on the placebo plus VLCD treated subjects.

You know the adage that success breeds success. We see that happening with hCG. It seems everyone knows someone who has lost weight and inches – as much as 40 lbs in 30 days using the hCG diet. And so, there seems to be an unquenchable interest shown in the hCG diet.

Imagine how many people worldwide enter the search terms, “diets”, “diet plan”, “Atkins diet”, “dieting”, “weight loss diet”, the list goes on but here are Google’s own results for monthly global searches.

Now compare that to what the figures are for hCG.

Well I expect you are staggered as much as we were! Now ask yourself why are so many more people trying to find out about this diet as opposed to looking for any other dieting solution?

We would suggest it is because many would have seen the results of a family member, friend or work colleague that had followed the protocol, and were quite literally amazed, needing to find out more about it and where to buy it. What better advertisement for a product than a walking billboard!

Our experience with our own case studies carried out before we launched, were that the people that tested our HCGa Diet were inundated with people asking how they managed to lose weight quickly and effortlessly, and, importantly, where could they get hold of it!

Not for one minute are we suggesting that everybody was searching Google for that reason, but the level of interest shown on the Google search engine alone suggests that for whatever reason, the hCG diet has had an incredible impact on the weight loss world and this would not be the case were it simply a fad or worse, a hyped program that did not generate results.

Not all hCG is created equally. It is hugely important that you know the source of the product. You may also want to know who is manufacturing it, if it is it a pure homeopathic product or something that is full of fillers, or what is its base medium – water, alcohol or glycerin. There will always be low cost producers where quality is not the focus.

We assume if you have read this far you are concerned about finding safe and effective hCG and are not tempted by the low costs you may have seen on the Internet. As always be extremely cautious about what you put in your body. As noted earlier, hCG for weight loss is not endorsed and also not regulated by the FDA.

Many companies that are selling hCG as a diet solution are trying to stand out from the crowd, offering their product at a much lower price than the norm, but this usually results in the consumer ending up with a 1oz bottle, and to have success with the diet we would suggest that a 2oz bottle is the minimum you should purchase for an effective weight loss solution.

The HCGa Diet strives to provide quality products that benefits the lives of our customers, their healthy lifestyle is our primary focus. With that in mind our products must meet our highest standards of quality and performance.

The HCGa Diet has partnered with Vibra Naturals to manufacture our pharmaceutical grade sub-lingual drops. They manufacture our HCGa Diet drops in a federally registered pharmaceutical laboratory that is in full compliance with FDA regulations governing pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. Vibra produces numerous health care products for multi-million dollar companies.

In addition to these high manufacturing standards, Vibra manufactures a superior hCG product using a glycerol based vibration drop formula that contains no alcohol. By adding vibrational poly-charges (many singular charges into one energetic blank medium) it provides a higher quality product that is safe, withstands heat, is highly stable, being able to withstand an airport x-ray machine and does not require refrigeration after opening, but we would suggest you do.

So in summary, know your source and avoid the potential concerns and dangers that accompany an unproven source of hCG. You cannot afford to waste your hard earned dollars without a clear understanding of the source, legitimacy and quality of the hCG you will be purchasing. HCGA and Vibra Naturals is committed to providing the highest quality hCG available and we are transparent when people want information on our products.

Diet fads have been in existence for decades, my personal favourite was the miracle “reducing soap” which surfaced in the 1920’s. Consumers were “promised” that this miracle soap would eliminate fat on any part of the body when washed with it, oh if it were that easy! Then the 1950’s brought us the tapeworm diet, which meant you could carry on eating, while the inserted tapeworm did all the hard work, helpfully joining you in eating your meals, albeit from the comfort of its home…your intestines.

Also let us not forget the Swedish invention of a vibrating belt. If you are at least 40 years old you might remember the ads from the 1970’s that showed a “model” standing on a platform with a belt strapped round their waist, which when switched on would heavily vibrate and, the theory goes, would shake loose all the excess fat! A similar model was used much earlier than that and 1920’s baseball legend Babe Ruth often used a vibrating belt device to lose weight and the results – or rather the lack of, remained evident throughout his career.

Fad diets gain popularity quickly, with the media jumping on board and inadvertently promoting them via their “news” stories detailing the rising number of people adopting the diet and reporting testimonials from slimmer, satisfied customers. In time, reports start surfacing about potential dangers, follow up stories from unsatisfied customers and followers who have since gained weight back. As the cycle progresses and eventually runs its course, it begins again with a new fad.

So is the HCGA Diet just another fad? In truth, the jury is still out, but the fact that it has been in existence for decades and there have been thousands of case studies offered by satisfied customers, suggests that it does work and will continue to be popular for years to come.

So the definition of a fad diet can be very subjective. Most people would use the term to deride what they consider is a poor weight loss diet. But in reality a fad diet is simply a weight loss diet that becomes very popular, very quickly and then may fall out of favour just as quickly. But just because a diet is labelled as a “fad” does not necessarily mean it is a failure.

With the history of the hCG diet being reported since the 1950’s I think we can safely say it has longevity. We cannot deny that there has been a huge surge in popularity recently, mainly due to the power of our media and the Internet, but it didn’t just appear overnight, and for that reason the notion that the HCGA Diet is a fad, in our opinion can be dismissed.

We created the HCGa Diet Club following a large amount of research, finding the highest quality and experienced manufacturing source and with a focus on integrity. We want you to be aware of the facts surrounding the diet, with it’s reported success there will always be supporters and detractors, whether they be weight loss competitors, authoritative bodies that want greater proof or just plain old skeptics. All we want you to do is take time to see whether this solution suits you and present information that aids in your research so that you have a balanced view before reaching your decision.
Finally, if you decide that you are ready to embark on your weight loss journey and that the HCGa Diet Club is your chosen vehicle to get you there, then we welcome you into our community and will continue to develop this website and any other media relating to our company, so that we can offer you the best information, support and most importantly, high quality pharmaceutical grade, sub-lingual hCG oral drops (try and say that with a mouthful of food!!).

HCG Diet Plan - What Can You Eat On the HCGA Diet

A stringent calorie count is a part of our HCG diet plan and similar HCG diets.  The use of HCG drops is combined with a restricted diet to get the full benefit of weight loss. A low calorie count changes the metabolism to burn the stored fat for the energy consumption required for daily activities. Conversely, it burns the flab and stored fat to shed extra pounds. Though the HCG diets are planned out in three phases, only certain foods are allowed during the complete 3 phased HCG diet.

The three phases of the HCG diet consists of:

Phase I: This is the loading phase where high fat diet is eaten and is for the first 3 days.
Phase II: This is the low calorie phase when the individual only consumes 500 calories a day.
Phase III: This is the maintenance phase and food guidelines and restriction continue.

The HCG diet plan basically consists of a 500 calorie a day and regular dose of HCG drops. The reason behind the 500 calories a day diet is that the HCG stimulates the metabolic rate and the body starts to assimilate and burn the stored fat which counts to about 2000 calories a day. This provides the energy for everyday functioning. However, as per the HCG diet plan, there are clear instructions about the foods that can be consumed and those that are completely restricted. Ranging from organic vegetables and fruits to limited starch, no sugar and carbohydrates, most of the first 21 to 26 days are stringent.
