So once again to prove the point get in the kitchen and create a tasty, spicy chilli using chicken in place of beef.
- 100 grams of minced chicken breast
- 1/2 onion finely diced
- 1 medium tomato diced
- 2 cups of zero fat chicken broth (add more if you want it a bit soupy)
- 3 cloves of minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon of dried chilli flakes (add more if you want it hotter!)
In a heated non stick pot, saute the onion and chicken in a little of the broth, then add all other ingredients except the tabasco. Bring to a light boil and then cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Serve in a bowl adding a dash of tabasco for extra bite!
